Transfer of non-profit pension annuity business to Canada Life

Equitable Life has transferred most of its non-profit pension annuity business to Canada Life Limited ('Canada Life').

The transfer has now been agreed by the High Court in London and by the Royal Court of Guernsey.

Detailed information was issued to all policyholders during October/November 2006 (see letter library).

The transfer in respect of annuitants who are resident in Guernsey is subject to the approval of the Royal Court of Guernsey.  The following documents relate to that process:
